Key Features and Care
Appearance: They feature a pure white to pale silver body with faint yellow bars and long, flowing fins, providing a "high-body" profile similar to wild Altum angels.
Size: They grow quite large, requiring at least a 120–200 litre tank to accommodate their 15–20 cm tall body.
Behavior: Generally peaceful but can be territorial during breeding or when mature.
Environment: They prefer warm water ( or ) with a pH of 6.5–7.5.
Compatibility: Excellent community fish suitable for pairing with other peaceful species.

Important Notes
Environment Sensitivity: Their albino color can be influenced by environment. Placing them in dark-colored tanks can potentially inhibit the albino gene, causing them to revert to darker, wild-type pigment.
Origin: The Dantum strain is often debated as either a Pterophyllum scalare (Common Angelfish) hybrid or a Pterophyllum scalare x Altum cross.
