Important Notes
- Environment Sensitivity: Their albino color can be influenced by environment. Placing them in dark-colored tanks can potentially inhibit the albino gene, causing them to revert to darker, wild-type pigment.
- Origin: The Dantum strain is often debated as either a Pterophyllum scalare (Common Angelfish) hybrid or a Pterophyllum scalare x Altum cross.
